Celebrate 27^th Dubai Shopping Festival at City Walk, La Mer, and The Beach, Opposite JBR

Dubai-UAE: 16 December, 2021 – Celebrate the 27^th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), at City Walk, La Mer, and The Beach, opposite JBR. See the destinations come alive with spectacular fireworks displays, unbeatable offers, endless daily entertainment, and sensational light displays every weekend from 15 December 2021 to 30 January 2022.

Daily drone shows and fireworks at The Beach, opposite JBR

From daily drone shows to mesmerising fireworks, a truly special experience awaits you at the seaside destination this DSF. The drone show will showcase the inspiring story of the UAE’s past, present and future through captivating choreography and AR elements.

Meanwhile, Stunning fireworks light up the skies of The Beach, in addition to a spectacular New Year’s Eve’s fireworks show at midnight.

Fireworks, live music performances, waterbowl show and light art at La Mer

Kickstart the season of celebrations by watching a mesmerising display of fireworks by the shores of La Mer, on the opening day of DSF, on 16 December, at 8:30pm.

The destination is also set to amaze you with the captivating, never seen before, Dubai Lights exhibit. Part of the unique interactive art installations from international lighting artists, under the newly created Dubai Lights, Rhizome – designed by artists Tom and Lien Dekyvere – embodies the on- and offline connections humans make in all sorts of ways that reflect on our society in a web made of hundreds of metres of brightly illuminated rope. Meanwhile, Lightbattle X – designed by Joost van Bergen, Dirk Schlebusch, and Onne Walsmit – will let you experience the Dutch heritage of cycling in a completely different way. In addition, you can witness a unique waterbowl performance coming to the Middle East for the first time only at La Mer. An award-winning duo will perform mind-blowing aerial and waterbowl stunts that blend air, ground, and water.

There’s more! Danny Aridi, the Canadian/Lebanese multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, and Peter Rosalita, the 10-year-old frontrunner of America’s Got Talent, will perform live, exclusively at La Mer.

Alfresco dining, live entertainment, and retail therapy at City Walk

If you’re on the lookout for alfresco dining options complemented with upbeat live entertainment, City Walk is the place to go to during DSF. At the design-inspired destination you can make the best use of Dubai’s winter temperatures and choose from more than 50 restaurant to dine from. And you can tap your feet to the beat from the city’s best DJs, watch live bands your favourite TikTok dances come to life in a vibrant medley, and check out the impressive street dance moves of athletic b-boy dancers. What’s more? You can shop at City Walk with discounts on just about everything you could think of across the destination’s retail brands.
